This past year has been a blessing and we remain grateful to God for this opportunity. Its been a fantastic year and while our over 10 years of experience building one of the Best Schools in Lagos ( Distinct Star Nursery and Primary) certainly prepared us for the Upward journey into High school and sixth form. None of this would have been possible without amazing Parents and dedicated members of staff.
The decision to start DSIC was based on our understanding that the early years of a child’s life play a huge role in shaping their future. Thus we set out to bring World class education to the Magodo area. Our Focus at Distinct International College can be summarised as follows
Vision: We believe it to be essential to help our stars develop a great vision for their future and the future of this country. We help them believe in themselves and make them understand they have the power to change the world
Knowledge: We searched the world to develop a deep understanding of what the best practices for teaching and learning are and put them into practice at DSIC. We currently run a Blended British & Nigerian curriculum and employ Project Based Learning alongside world standard ICT.
Values: We believe in building well rounded disciplined and morally upstanding students. We do not shy away from our Christian Values and wholly embody this in our teaching at Distinct Star. We do however remain committed to being a welcoming environment for people of different faiths.
